Kay Martin (pen name) wrote these fan-fiction Star Trek stories starting at about age 13, when the original Star Trek series aired back in 1966-1969. Her first stories were short, seeing as she had to write them with pencil and lined paper. As an adult, Kay still liked Star Trek, so she gave new life to her first crude writing attempts using her new Commodore 64 computer. The stories got longer, even novel-sized.
